Due to the impending weather and the Open Match being cancelled on Saturday 23rd November 2024.

 Barford Lakes is now closed to Day tickets and members this Saturday

for One day.   Re-openin Sunday 24th November for Club Matches.

2024 Barford Lakes coaching dates are now avaliable 

1 hour FREE 'Get into fishing' on Tuesdays - 2nd April, Tuesday 28th May and Tuesday 30th July in Am or Pm sessions

or low cost Carry on Angling 3 hour sessions - 10 am until 1pm 

Tues 9th April  - Tues 13th August - Sat 17th August - Tues 20th August 

Tues 27th August 2024 

It is essential to book in.

Day Ticket FIshing

We are closed this weekend due to the 4 Day Festival being held on the lakes (4th August and 5th August).

We are now open to the publis for day tickets on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8am to 7pm.  The cafe at the lakes is now open Wednesdays to Sundays and food can be booked by contacting Andi and Rachel on 07904 115010.  

Barford Coaching 10 year Aniversary

It doesnt seem like 10 years since Phil Nichols and I put on our Angling Volunteer Champions jackets and started coaching at Barford Lakes.  Since then we have built a reputation for quality licenced coached sessions.  We have built up a great coaching team with years of experiance and coached over 2000+ young anglers in group, schools and one to one sessions.

Here are a few pictures of the 'Quality' fish caught during  our sessions. 

Thanks to everyone involved, Barford Lakes, the Angling Trust and Environment Agency for making these happen.

Day Tickets this Saturday

We have day tickets available this Saturday 1st April on all 3 lakes at Barford. They are £11 a day for 2 rods (member's guests pay £10).

No afternoon tickets so arrival before 12pm please, no entry after that time. Memberships are now open for the coming season. They are £175 if in receipt of state pension and £200 otherwise. This is for a full year's fishing at Barford Lakes Monday to Saturdays with some Sundays.
